KVK,Undi made some interventions to engage women in productive works and involving them in income generating activities that may help farm families to get sustainable income throughout the year. Interactive lectures coupled with hands on experience on preparation of millet value added products viz. biscuits,  instant mixes, breakfast items, ready to serve snacks, lunch/dinner items, bakery products  and providing entrepreneurial opportunities to un-employed, rural women and youth. KVK, Undi is also providing assistance in designing and making of colourful jute bags and packing for different products produced by the entrepreneurs facilitating better marketing opportunities. A mini rice mill was established at KVK,Undi and is creating awareness by conducting method demonstrations and trainings on performance of mini rice mill for encouraging small entrepreneurs at village level.
